With all our new found skills in Google Drawing, we decided to put these skills to the test while working in our Breakout Rooms! The class decided to try and figure out what the inside of this tube looked like! Our breakout rooms have been a great way for students to connect over their work, share it (by sharing screens), and socially connecting!
Which model do you think best represents the inside of the tube? Since we'll never be able to open the tube, maybe making a model ourselves will help explain this!
One of the main practices we'll be focusing on in science this year is modeling! We'll be focusing on this practice as we try to explain scientific phenomena! In order to do so, we started the year learning how to use Google Drawing! With some videos showing tips and tricks, we're off to a great start! Check out these creative drawings and completed assignments! We'll be off to developing scientific models before we know it!
What a great start of the school year even though we are doing so remotely! We've focused a lot of the start of the school year on how our class will look and what the expectations will be! Here's what we discussed in terms of expectations and our science class itself!
We'll be using the G-Suite for education along with PearDeck and breakout rooms! I can't wait to get to know my students better!
