In order to really understand what is going on inside an egg, we turned to some research to help us figure things out. Using some pictures from some chick embryos that were dedicated to science, we could see what was happening at each day of development in the 21 day period. It was helping us make sense of what we were seeing as we candled on day 2 and day 13!
Since some of our eggs looked more like eggs earlier on (instead of day 13), we agreed that it might be helpful to candle one more time in a couple days to see if it's worth "saving" them, in addition to candling some eggs from the store to compare.
