Through careful discussion and reflection, we are agreeing more on what a model should look like. As we try to figure out where the stuff went in our model, it's important to be able to explain to others what is going on. Mrs. Brinza modeled the creation of a model for two situations, and then students were asked to model a new situation on their own. With time, we also realize that models can change as we gather more evidence and a stronger understanding of the phenomena we're investigating.
