We're starting to see that not every location we've looked at behaves like Everest, nor looks like it! We took some time to re-examine our locations and see just how they differ from what we came to an agreement upon like Everest. We've recognized that the plates cannot only move towards each other, but away from each other as well. We're seeing that this may develop "crack-like" structures in the land, like crevices, depressions, or ravines. |
We're also seeing that some of the places we've looked at have volcanoes, too. Why is it that some places have mountains and volcanoes and others only have mountains? Why is it that plate movement can be the same but different landscapes are evident? Gosh, we've got some figuring out to do! Next steps: volcanoes!
