Students wanted more data--real data. Recent data. So with some digging into some photographic evidence and some satellite imagery, students saw some earthquake evidence not too far from us in California.
There was certainly evidence of a HUGE crack in the ground after the earthquake, and elevated or sinking sides beyond the crack. Satellite imagery was also showing that there was definitely a shift and elevation of the land. But this is just one location. What happens at other locations that also experience earthquakes? Students wanted MORE data!
